1st International Summer Course 2024

Theme: Tropical Agriculture, Biodiversity, and Sustainable Food Systems
Dates: July 2024 · Venue: Faculty of Agriculture, UNS Surakarta · Participants: 60+ students from 15+ countries
The inaugural edition of the UNS International Summer Course brought together students from across Asia, Europe, and Africa for ten days of intensive learning, field visits to Central Java’s agricultural sites, and cultural immersion activities in Surakarta. Sessions were led by faculty from UNS and visiting lecturers from partner universities, covering themes in tropical agronomy, plant biodiversity, food processing, and sustainable farming systems.
